Correction - Canadian Woman Beaten and Robbed in San Carlos
(Panama-Guide) As it often happens, the first reports I receive about an incident involving a member of the English speaking community of expatriates here in Panama are very often wrong, incomplete, or lacking in details. I received this email in response to an earlier article I published about a woman who was beaten and robbed in a home invasion in San Carlos: "Hi Don, Thanks for posting the article about the woman being robbed in San Carlos. Most of the facts however are incorrect. The victim is Canadian. She took money out of her bank account in Global Bank, Coronado the day before she was to leave on a trip to Canada.
