New Law Will Govern Apartment Buildings - Create New "Direction of Horizontal Property"
(Panama-Guide) - La Estrella - The National Assembly passed a new law this week in the third and final debate. Without many surprises, the law establishes a new regime that will govern "horizontal properties" (apartment buildings), and creates regulations in this matter that now only need the signature of President Ricardo Martinelli to establish the norms for coexistence that will apply to the hundreds of apartment buildings that adorn the urban landscape.
