Prosecutor Requests Supreme Court Put Ana Matilde Gomez on Trial

newsnviews2.jpg(Panama-Guide) - La Prensa - The Office of the Administration Prosecutor requested the Supreme Court call former Attorney General Ana Matilde Gomez to trial, who is being investigated on charges of abuse of authority and abuse of functions. Gomez's defense lawyers said they would file a notice of opposition against the prosecutor's opinion which was prepared by the Secretary General of the Office of the Administration Prosecutor, Nelson Rojas, who is acting as the prosecutor in charge of this case because the primary, Oscar Ceville, took himself off of the case.
