(Panama-Guide) There is a wave of intense thunderstorms currently developing to the Northeast of Panama City. The center of the storm system is about 150 miles from the capital, over the Caribbean, to the west of the city of Colon. Current radar images indicate this strong system is moving towards the South and West and most likely will eventually generate some strong rains, periods of intense downpours, accompanied with electrical activity, thunder and lightening.
