Panama Seeks To Expand and Upgrade Counter Drug Helicopter Fleet

newsnviews2.jpg(Panama-Guide) - La Prensa  - Panama's Minister of Government and Justice, Jose Raul Mulino, expects to acquire a fleet of twelve helicopters to combat the movement of drugs through Panamanian waters, through the use of the twelve Naval Air Stations (four of which have already been opened) the government intends to establish along Panama's coasts. There are currently eight helicopters assigned to the National Naval Air Service (Senan) but only three are operational.
