PRD Secretary General Says US Troops Are Deployed To The Darien
(Panama-Guide) - La Critica - The Secretary General of the Democratic Revolutionary Party (PRD), Mitchell Doens, reiterated his claim that there is currently a large contingent of US military personnel deployed to the area of the Darien, and that government authorities have not announced anything about it or the reasons thereof. Two months ago Doens said on RPC Radio that ne made a visit to Metetà in Panama's Darién province and he tried to use the airport in the area, but he was told it was restricted for civilian use, although it met all of the necessary conditions to operate.
