Panama And Canada Sign Bilateral Free Trade Agreement
(Panama-Guide) - Panama America - The Trade ministers from Canada and Panama, Peter Van Loan and Roberto Henriquez, respectively, signed in Ottawa today a Free Trade Agreement between the two countries, which will reduce tariffs by more than 90% on bilateral trade. After the signing, Secretary of State for Western Hemisphere from Canada, Peter Kent, said through a statement "the historic signing today marks a new era in relations with a key partner and a highly valued friend on the American continent."
