Vallarino - "We're Going To Pay The Taxes"
(Panama-Guide) - La Estrella - Alberto Vallarino, the Minister of Economy and Finance, said he is willing to pay all taxes generated by the transfer to the Hotel Bristol Buenaventura between two companies that he owns. He was asked "So why have you not made the payment?" Vallarino's answer is simple, "we are in the process of doing that." Vallarino said the delay occurred because his company, the Grupo Verdeazul, was awaiting a decision from the Panama Tourism Authority (ATP) to include the Bristol Resort, the company that bought the hotel, in the tourism registry.
