Vice President Varela Discusses Plan to Legalize Thousands of Colombians in Panama
(Panama-Guide) - Telemetro Reporta - During his recent visit to Colombia, Panamanian president Ricardo Martinelli announced a plan to conduct a census in order to legalize the immigration status of thousands of Colombians who are illegally residing in Panama. Vice President and Foreign Minister Juan Carlos Varela said a process to normalize the immigration status for foreigners has not been done in the last sixteen years.
