Plans for 56-story Luxury Building in Panama City Unveiled

Panama City, PANAMA--YOO, an international real estate design and development company, has unveiled plans for YOO Panama, a 56-story luxury condominium tower, set to open in late 2010.
The $85 million project, located on Balboa Avenue, borders the ocean and offers views of the Panama Bay, Panama City and the Panama Canal.
YOO Panama includes 234 luxurious one- and two-bedroom residences, each with terraces and floor-to-ceiling windows. The loft-style residences start at 1,378 square feet and the penthouse residences start at 2476 square feet.
Each unit features master baths with stone tile floors and shower walls, with matching stone vanities. The Italian kitchens have stone countertops and stainless steel appliances.
Amenities include a lounge, pool table, swimming pool and library. The on-site day spa offers whirlpools, steam rooms and saunas, as well as a yoga and Pilate’s studio. There are two professional squash courts and a fitness center featuring state-of-the-art equipment. Other amenities include full-time concierge staff, laundry and dry cleaning, and multipurpose ballrooms and meeting rooms.
YOO has developed luxury properties in other resort cities, including Punta Del Este, Uruguay; Sydney; Miami; Phuket, Thailand; and Tel Aviv, Israel.
The Yoo Panama is being developed by Habitats Realty, Consorcio General and Centurion Realty. Architectural firm BT Arquitectos is designing the building’s frame and YOO by Starck is designing the interiors.
