$5 Million Dollar Bail for Ernesto Perez Balladares
(Panama-Guide) This afternoon Panama's Second Superior Tribunal fixed bail for former Panamanian president Ernesto Perez Balladares, who is being investigated by the Special Prosecutor for organized crime and who has been charged with crimes related to money laundering, at $5 million dollars. Perez Balladares has been locked up under house arrest since 14 January 2010.
