Panama Will Send Search and Rescue Experts to Assist in Chile
(Panama-Guide) - Source: Dia a Dia - Panama is preparing to send a group of Search and Rescue experts to Chile to assist in rescue efforts there, following the massive earthquake that struck the South American country on Saturday, official sources said today. The director of the National System of Civil Protection (SINAPROC), Arturo Alvarado, said the mission would consist of 15 rescue workers, four canine units and a paramedic, who would travel to Chile sometime either today or tomorrow on a commercial flight.
