Investigating the Death of Denise Mullen Hiller in Panama
(Panama-Guide) By DON WINNER for Panama-Guide.com - American expatriate Denise Mullen Hiller was apparently murdered, beaten to death in her apartment in the Paitilla neighborhood of Panama City on Thursday night, 18 February 2010. Her body was discovered on Friday morning by a young lady who works for the Panama Canal Authority who carpools to work with Denise every day. Yesterday the Panamanian media started reporting on the story, and now the Direction of Judicial Investigation (DIJ) is investigating the apparent murder. One of the ranking police officers who responded to the scene said it was "apparent" Denise had been beaten to death.
