FARC Threatens Panama - Martinelli Responds

newsnviews2.jpg(Panama-Guide) - Source: Panama America - Security: After the armed clashes last week in Panama's Darién province, the government sent reinforcements to the area. The FARC guerrillas threatened Panama saying they would "scrub" the "unjustified hostility" against its members, while President Ricardo Martinelli replied saying the FARC should "not break the law" in Panama, or otherwise the "full weight of the law" would fall upon them. Martinelli said anyone who is within the Panamanian border must respect the laws of the country. "We do not want the FARC in Panama, they should return to their country with their operations," he said.
