A "Stampede" of Resignations In The Public Ministry

(Panama-Guide) Faced with the imminent suspension from office of Attorney General Ana Matilde Gomez, prosecutors and administrative officers of the Public Ministry (MP) decided to resign their positions or to make them available to be decided by her replacement, Giuseppe Bonissi, according to sources from this institution and some of the protagonists themselves. Among those who have resigned are the Superior Prosecutors James Bernard and Eduardo Guevara. Both confirmed their decisions to La Prensa.
