Ministry of Government and Justice Will Be Split in Two

(Panama-Guide) - Source: Telemetro Reporta - It's almost certain that the Ministry of Government and Justice will be split in two. The project will divide the existing entity into two new ministries. The proposal will be presented later this week to the National Assembly for approval after having been approved yesterday by the Cabinet Council. The functions of this ministry would be divided between the new Ministry of Public Security, responsible for coordinating all matters regarding to the leadership of law enforcement, and the Ministry of the Interior, which will manage the other institutions that were part of the Ministry of Government and Justice.
