Panama Restricts Flight Activity To Darién After FARC Clash

(Panama-Guide) - Source: Panama's Civil Aviation Authority - By DON WINNER for Panama-Guide.com - Panama's Civil Aviation Authority (AAC) has issued a "Notice To Airmen" (NOTAM) severely restricting the flight of private aircraft in Eastern Panama near the border with Colombia. According to the note - "All private, commercial (charter), instruction and helicopter flights are prohibited in the area of the Darién, except those going to Miraflores and Meteti, and those flights flown by regular airlines."
