A Gringo Dies On The Streets of Panama...

(Panama-Guide) By DON WINNER for Panama-Guide.com - This afternoon I learned that a 50-something American man named "David Jones" died in his sleep of natural causes either late Wednesday night or early Thursday morning. I know the name sounds suspect, but by all accounts "David Jones" was his real name. His body was discovered in the empty lot on Via Veneto, right were the old Terraza bar and grill used to be before it was torn down. Apparently David arrived in Panama about five years ago, together with his wife and child. They rented an apartment and lived here together for awhile, but then eventually David's wife moved back to the US with their daughter. Some time later the wife found out David had a girlfriend here in Panama. She came back down, threw them both out of the apartment, and filed for divorce.
