Panama's Attorney General Called To Testify - Might Be Removed From Office
(Panama-Guide) - (Source: José Otero for La Prensa)- The Prosecutor of Administration, Nelson Rojas, requested that Panama's Attorney General Ana Matilde Gomez be called to make a sworn statement in the criminal case pending against her. In addition, unofficial information indicates he also asked the Supreme Court to remove Gomez from her position as the Attorney General. Thus far Gomez has not taken any action, but it was learned the Public Ministry will release a statement later in the day.
