Moncada Luna and José Abel Almengor Will Take Office on Monday
(Panama-Guide) After much controversy surrounding the ratification of their appointments to Panama's Supreme Court of Justice, the new magistrates Alejandro Moncada Luna and José Abel Almengor will take office on Monday, 4 January 2010. The swearing in ceremony for the new judges will be in the morning, and in the afternoon a vote is scheduled to select the new President of the Supreme Court to replace Harley Mitchell, whose term is ending.
