Penonome’s 2nd Annual Art in the Park- Don’t Miss It!

On March 1, 2008, a very distinguished group of art aficionados and art loving residents of Panama and Penonome in particular have come together for the second time to produce the 2nd Annual El Arte En El Parque on Saturday March 1st  at the Plaza in Penonome. Last year was a huge success. 82 artists from all over Panama participated.

This year promises to be even more exciting. There will be music, dancers, three very interesting speakers and very beautiful and affordable art.

The purpose of the event is to raise money to provide scholarships for art study for the  young and promising artists of Panama. Artists who sell pieces give 10% to the scholarship fund. There will also be a raffle of paintings that have been donated by professional artists. There will be food, traditional dancers and Penonome will be happy to welcome all of us.

Grab your friends and come to Penonome. Make it a fun day helping the young artists of Panama. Come at between 10 a.m. – 11 p.m. and spend the day in Penonome!
