Panama's Supreme Court Orders CEMIS Corruption Case To Be Reopened

(Multimodal Industrial and Services Center). The Communications Secretary of the Judicial Branch reported this afternoon that the Supreme Court ordered the reopening of the case, one of the largest corruption scandals in Panama's history. Supreme Court judge Jacinto Cárdenas did not vote, while judge Esmeralda de Troitiño gave a "concurring opinion" vote which means she agrees with the decision, but not how they arrived at the decision, according to the press release.
