PRD's Jaime Salas Remains in DIJ Lockup - Corruption Investigation

(Panama-Guide) By Manuel Vega Loo for La Prensa - Rogelio Cruz, the lawyer for former city engineer Jaime Salas De la Cruz, said his client wanted to appear this morning, Monday, before the Special Prosecutor for Organized Crime, but he did not make a sworn statement today because they have filed an appeal against the order which requires him to appear. Cruz said on RPC Radio he expects prosecutor José Ayú Prado will order the arrest of Salas de la Cruz.
