Panama's dedicated helicopter emergency medical service today announced the creation of their affiliation program for website owners. The service, scheduled to begin in March 2008, will provide EMS services within Panama for a low cost per person. Website owners with the appropriate content can promote the service while earning money by selling memberships for tourists coming to Panama.
"We see the affiliation program as a good way to help spread the word about the service and allow us to expand our capabilities within Panama," said Jim Thomson, president of LifeFlight. "We want high quality websites providing good information regarding Panama to help us inform the public about the advantages of being a member."
LifeFlight Panama is scheduled to begin medical flight operations in March 2008 with their base of operations at Marcos A. Gelabert International Airport in Albrook, Panama.
LifeFlight Panama will be the first dedicated Helicopter Emergency Medical and Air Ambulance Service based in Panama City, Republic of Panama. LifeFlight services will be supported by membership subscriptions and a foundation enabling it to fly for humanitarian as well as commercial purposes. LifeFlight will provide a rapid response for those living, working, visiting and travelling in Panama using a Bell LongRanger III helicopter with a range of 300 nautical miles.
