(Panama-Guide) By Abdiel Augusto Patino for La Estrella - The judge presiding over Panama's Fifth Criminal Court, Oscar Carrasquilla, saved Panama City Mayor Bosco Vallarino from having to make a formal sworn statement before Panama's Anti Corruption Prosecutor, Ramsés Barrera, in the case involving the preparation of a check for $4,000 dollars in the name of his wife, Anabel Espino de Vallarino, to pay travel expenses for a trip to Taiwan - a case that has created a scandal around the Mayor's management of City Hall.
