Former President Balladares says he is victim of "judicial terrorism"
(Panama-Guide) La Critica - Former Panamanian President Ernesto Pérez Balladares said today he is a victim of "judicial terrorism" and a "political persecution" by an investigation into the granting concessions to operate casinos in Panama that were given during his tenure between 1994 to 1999. In a note published as paid space in local papers, Perez Balladares defended his administration and the manner in which bids were made, and claims there are officials "who are assembling and who are starting to fabricate what they would like to turn into truths which in reality are nothing more than fabrications."
