Landslide in Colon Leaves 110 Homeless

At least 110 people were affected after landslides cause by heavy rains in the Emberá community of Eyadro, located on the banks of Gatun River in the province of Colon. The districts of Nueva Providencia, Cativá and Portobelo were also affected. In the early morning hours yesterday, Sunday, the Gatun River reached its highest level, inundating homes and fields and everything in its path.
