newsnviews2.jpg(Panama-Guide ) La Critica - Mexico | EFE - Ramón Martinelli Corro, a cousin of the president of Panama, Ricardo Martinelli, will remain jailed in Mexico for 40 days after his arrest for his alleged relationship with a drug money laundering network, Mexican prosecutors said today. Martinelli Corro was arrested on Friday along with seven others, three additional Panamanians and four Mexicans, for allegedly being part of a cell that transported dollars from Mexico to Panama for the Mexican cartel run by the Beltrán Leyva brothers, said the Attorney General's Office (PGR) in a statement.
