Expats Attack in Playa Blanca Panama

(Panama-Guide ) I went to visit Mike and Olga today, in their hotel room! They both continue to recover from the injuries they received on 31 October 2009 when a 17 year old kid opened fire on their rental car from the side of the road with a handgun, thinking they were carrying a payroll for a construction site in the area of Playa Blanca. This was clearly a case of mistaken identity, with them being in the wrong place at the wrong time, and an attempted robbery gone bad. In the attack Mike was shot four times (right forearm, left leg, left hand grazed twice) and Olga twice, once in the middle of the forehead and once in the back.
