Prosecutor Might Toss Out Doens Case (For Being Bullshit)
(Panama-Guide ) By JOSEPH OTERO for La Prensa - So far, the allegations made by the the Secretary General of the Democratic Revolutionary Party (PRD), Mitchell Doens, on alleged corruption in the current government are unfounded. Yesterday, Panama's Third Anti-Corruption Prosecutor, April Arosemena said she does not rule out the possibility of formally closing the file that was opened last week, after the public accusations made by the PRD leader. Arosemena said she has already taken the sworn statement from the businessman indicated by Doens - whose name has been reserved - as the person who told him that local entrepreneurs received political pressures in exchange for contracts with the state.
