Bus Accident in Antón Leaves 25 Injured
(Panama-Guide ) By Elena Valdez for the Panama America - Coclé - Antón - Twenty five people were injured, nine of them seriously, in a spectacular accident when one of the front tires exploded on a small bus driving the Las Guías to Penonomé route, causing the driver to lose control on the Inter American Highway near the entrance to Santa Rita in Antón. Fortunately the driver managed to maneuver the bus to avoid hitting a small building in the area, and when the vehicle came to a halt the passengers evacuated the vehicle as best they could.
