US Ambassador Supports Decision to Establish Additional Anti Drug Bases
(Panama-Guide ) La Critica - The U.S. ambassador to Panama Barbara Stephenson said it was a wise decision to establish naval bases in Panama to control drug trafficking. Stephenson pointed out that Washington has always cooperated on issues like drug trafficking, and in this sense she said the US will continue to cooperate with regards to training and logistical support for the people who will be working at those bases.
