Panama To Finalize Departure from PARLACEN
(Panama-Guide ) Telemetro - PANAMA (AFP). Panama's Vice President and Foreign Minister Juan Carlos Varela announced on Tuesday that he will travel to Guatemala and El Salvador to formally present the final departure of Panama from the Central American Parliament (PARLACEN), and called upon the other countries who are members of that organization to respect the decision of his country. "We will probably travel this week to Guatemala and El Salvador to formally present our unilateral departure from the Parlacen, if there is no consensus (among the other member nations) on our exit," he told RPC Radio.
