By DON WINNER for Panama-Guide.com - Received this morning via email: "Don, It's been so long since I've read or heard anything about the con artist Carl Baker that I've forgotten about him until, unfortunately, an American equipment operator doing the remodel on our greens at Summit Golf Club fell victim to his well rehearsed sob story. He was here in Panama for three weeks and got swindled just two nights before his departure back to the States, so he couldn't find Baker again, and of course, won't be here to press charges if he gets caught and arrested for some other crime.
