National Assembly Pulls and All-Nighter - Jams Through Four New Laws
(Panama-Guide ) La Critica - Panama's National Assembly approved four new laws on the third and final reading late last night and into the early morning hours of Saturday, including the suspension of municipal decentralization and a prohibition on adjustments to contracts. Law Number 86 suspended the decentralization of the Public Administration until June 30, 2014. Also approved was Law Number 85, which amends articles of the Penal and Judicial Codes.
