Panamanian Government |Creates New Immigration Category
(Panama-Guide ) La Prensa - The Ministry of Government and Justice has created a new immigration status for foreigners working for aviation companies based in the country. They can obtain residence in Panama for five years and will be eligible to apply for permanent residence, provided they comply with 13 requirements as identified in the Official Gazette 26394-C. Currently, the government is reviewing more amendments to Law 3 of February 2008, which created the National Immigration Service.
