Panama Sued By Inter American Court of Human Rights
(Panama-Guide ) La Prensa - WASHINGTON (EFE) The Inter-American Court of Human Rights will process a claim against Panama for alleged violations of rights and torture against Ecuadoran Jesús Tranquilino Vélez Loor in that country, it was announced today. The Inter American Commission on Human Rights (CIDH), and autonomous body of the Organization of American States (OAS), said they forwarded the application to the court, because the Panamanian State has not applied the recommendations in a report prepared on the case.
