Two Arrested for Ilegal Trafficking of Chinese in Panama

(ACAN-EFE) - Panama's Public Ministry (MP) today announced the arrest of two people, both Chinese nationals, for being allegedly involved in a trafficking network from the Asian country. Panama's Prosecutor Against Organized Crime, José Ayú Prado, today told reporters that two people, a couple who have a business in the capital, were linked to the shipment from China of two packages containing work permits from the Panamanian Ministry of Labor. One of the detainees is in the custody of the Judicial Investigation Department, while the other person is under house arrest, the prosecutor said.
