Maiden Voyage Update!
Hi to all Cruisers, The count down continues to December 7th, 2007 when we will be crusising the ocean on the maiden voyage of Royal Caribbean's "Enchantment of the Sea", leaving from Colon, Panama. The response to this trip has been outstanding! Over 100 people have said they are interested in participating on this fun packed and relaxing trip to Cartagena & Santa Marta, Columbia, Aruba, Curacao and Bonaire. With the help of Donna Anderson, Kathie Bishop and now Mitzi Martian (a former travel Specialist for Piedmont Travel) we are taking the next step to lock in prices to secure the best rates possible. Locking in now means that we can avoid paying fuel surcharges.
Mitzi has been in touch with Royal Caribbean and in a short time we will have the best rates and benefits confirmed for our trip. It will be necessary to fill out a "Trip Booking Form" as soon as possible. We will be Emailing these to you or handing them out at a meeting we are planning by mid or end of January. This will be for your room choices and the deposits to be made to hold your reservation. Location and details of this meeting to follow VERY soon. Keep checking Playacommunity.com for updates.
You can still sign up even after the January meeting. But, for those who signed up now, Royal Caribbean will lock in those prices as of the day they receive the deposits. The others may be subject to those surcharges that may be imposed.
I look forward to seeing each and every one of you in January. Bring your questions, as we will be discussing transportation to and from Colon, security and special needs as best as we can.
