San Jose Blitz - we have a date
Many of you probably know that after the Gorgona Blitz a local man contacted us to advise that he was so pleased with how his male dog behaved after surgery that he spread the word and had owners of 73 animals who wanted their pets sterilized. It took some time but we have a commitment from Dr. Alexis, of the McKee Foundation, he will be here this weekend. On Saturday he will operate on the cats and on Sunday he will operate on the female dogs; next weekend he will return to operate on the male dogs and any other animals we may have.
I know this is short notice but if you can help us on Sunday, we will have two shifts first from 8am to 12 noon, and then 12 noon to 4pm. With the McKee foundation we provide all the support for the vet, we do the pre-op, shaving, taxis, table assistant, post-op care, sterilize the instruments and drivering.
If you can help out this Sunday or next, please let me know which shift you would like. We need approximately 8 to 10 volunteers to successfully run a clinic so your help is needed.
If you can not attend but would like to donate the use of crates, food or supplies please contact Barb at pughouse13@yahoo.com
Thank you all for your on-going support.
