"Businessmen Should Govern" - Martinelli
(Panama-Guide) By Zelideth Cortez for La Critica - Panama's President Ricardo Martinelli called on the business class in Latin America to make the leap to active participation in public administration in their respective countries during his participation in the Twentieth Plenary Meeting of Latin American Business Council (CEAL), held in San Salvador. According to Martinelli, employers must "engage with the public administration to solve the problems of Latin American countries," and he argued that "changes are done from the inside, not only by donating to political campaigns."
