Prosecutor Asks For Information From U.S. Consulate (Again)
(Panama-Guide) By Jose Otero for La Prensa - The office of Panama's Special Organized Crime Prosecutor is waiting for the Consulate of the Embassy of the United States in Panama to deliver a list of the people who are working as staff members of this office, as part of an investigation being conducted into an international criminal network who falsified Panamanian identity documents to illegally enter the United States. Sources connected to this case report the request has been made on two occasions through official diplomatic channels, but thus far not response has been forthcoming from the US Consulate.
