Two More Arrested in Growing Corruption Scandal
(Panama-Guide) By Víctor A. Santos J. for El Siglo - More people are now involved in the fiberglass scandal. Two former Ministry of Education officials, after being interrogated by the Third Anti Corruption Prosecutor, where arrested on Wednesday after being indicted for the alleged crime of embezzlement in the scandal over the removal of fiberglass from schools. Cesar Cordero, the former National Director of Architecture and Engineering during the administration of Belgis Castro, was the first to be interrogated, but he did not meet the same fate as former Education Minister Salvador Rodriguez, who managed to avoid being arrested.
