Municipality of Panama City Announces Second Chance To Renew Car License Plates
(Panama-Guide) By Denise Lara for Telemetro Reporta - Starting Tuesday of next week, the Municipality of Panama City will officially announce a moratorium on the payment of fines, interest and penalties associated with the renewal of license plates. This proposal must first be approved by the City Council. There are currently more than 100,000 vehicle license plates that have not been picked up by taxpayers, and in most cases people have on average about $75 dollars in unpaid fines.
