"Coastal Strip" To Be Extended to Casco Viejo
(Panama-Guide) By LEONARDO FLORES and JOSÉ GONZÁLEZ PINILLA for La Prensa - The second phase of the Ave. Balboa "Coastal Project" will run from the seafood market until the 2 of January Plaza on 9th Street in San Felipe, and will have a cost of $52 million dollars. The Cabinet Council approved the construction of the project through an addendum to the contract the government has with the Brazilian Norberto Odebrecht SA construction company, saying that the contract is still in effect because they are now in the maintenance phase.
