New Law "$100 for 70" Approved Unanimously
(Panama-Guide) By Kathyria Caicedo for Telemetro Reporta - After all the controversy that arose over the adoption of amendments to the Administrative Career Law, lawmakers from both the ruling government party and the opposition PRD joined forces to unanimously pass the new measure called the "Varela Law." This law gives financial assistance of $100 dollars to those who are older than 70 years of age who do not receive any other kind of pension or retirement benefit.
