The United States Launders More Money Than Panama

newsnviews2.jpg(Panama-Guide) By Carlos Estrada Aguilar for La Critica - Panama's Superintendent of Banks, Olegario Barrelier, rejected last night before the full session of the National Assembly, those countries which would imply Panama is a kind of "tax haven" for the indiscriminate laundering of money. Barrelier said there was no doubt that in United States and in the ports of Europe more money is laundered than in Panama. He stressed the Superintendency of Banks constantly monitors banking transactions whose funds generate suspicion, but acknowledged they have not been able to prevent a few "goals" from slipping by.
