Mike Perham Meets With Her Majesty’s Ambassador at Panama City
(Panama-Guide) This morning Mike Perham, the 17 year-old vying to become the youngest person to ever have sailed around the world alone, was invited to meet with H.E. Richard Austen, Her Majesty’s Ambassador at Panama City, in the offices of the British Embassy in Marbella. Accompanied by Tatiana Nazarova and Dr. Monte Friesner of the Panama Sailing School, Mike met at length with Ambassador Austen and David Andrews, the Consul of the British Embassy in Panama. They spoke about Mike's voyage thus far, his planned route once he clears the Panama Canal, the repairs being accomplished on his boat the TotallyMoney.com, among other things.
