Panama's Yacht and Fishing Club - Next To Be Seized By Martinelli?
(Panama-Guide) By Aet Elisa Tejera C. for La CrÃtica - Another concession that will be reviewed (by the new administration of Ricardo Martinelli) is that given to the Club de Yates y Pesca (Yacht and Fishing Club), where the State had to pay $8 million dollars to build three hectares of landfill, forming part of the construction of the new "Coastal Strip" - land that was handed over to this organization. Panama's Minister of Economy and Finance, Alberto Vallarino, said they would call the directors of the Club to come in for a meeting next week for them to report on the landfill. "The State created this landfill with an investment of $8 million dollars that did not have to be done, and much less for free," said Vallarino.
