Ben - Wall of Fur

Ben, a Chesapeake Bay retriever, lived to retrieve balls, sticks  or anything that was thrown. His favourite game was retrieving a ball thrown far out into the river; he would run full tilt down the dock and launch himself into the water.  He was smart he learned to time the movement of ball and always managed to place himself in the perfect spot to grab the ball as it floated downstream.  He was a faithful companion, scared of thunder and lightening, but always ready with his unconditional love.  He died February 2007 and I still miss him.  Bella has big paws to fill.
